Pasvalys Cultural and Recreation Park, nestled in a natural setting, is an ideal spot for those who enjoy forest walks and quality leisure time in nature. Established in 1923 and continually developed since then, today the park spans 70 hectares and serves as the heart of the city's green infrastructure. The park's impressive landscape is enhanced by oak sculptures created by local folk artists between 1986 and 1988, depicting folkloric and mythological themes. One of the park's attractions is Lake Šilas, a man-made karst water body, which captivates visitors with its unique history of water disappearing into underground channels. During the summer season, the park becomes a hub for cultural events and sports competitions. For visiting tourists, there is comfortable accommodation available in the campsite with cozy cabins.
