What motivates a person to become a collector? In the case of Klementas Sakalauskas, it all began in his childhood when his father discovered an ancient coin. This find sparked Klementas' passion for antiques, which eventually grew into an impressive collection of 18th–19th-century exhibits.
Today, his collection showcases not only unique household items but also remarkable objects such as a 1931 NASH car imported from the USA, the first-ever sound recording device – Edison's phonograph, and a 70–80 million-year-old dinosaur egg certified by the Latvian Geological Museum. Each exhibit tells its own unique story, conveying the atmosphere of past eras and the human ability to preserve historical values for future generations.
