The village of Švenčiuliškiai is known not only for its history but also for the graves of post-war partisans, exiles, book smugglers, and volunteers. The cemetery is distinguished by a unique composition of millstones created by Jonas Žilevičius and his like-minded associates, along with collected wooden crosses and memorial stones from the Krekenava area. Žilevičius, who was completely devoted to preserving the memory of post-war heroes, transformed the cemetery into an open-air museum where Christian and pagan symbols harmoniously merge. Local residents often share stories about his significant contribution to commemorating the anniversaries of Krekenava, as his efforts greatly helped preserve the historical and cultural heritage of the area.
