Between the first and third Old Įpiltis mounds, near the Graistupis River, stands the legendary Altar Stone, also known as Lady’s Bed. It is said that once, a noble lady used to rest here, and from lying on the stone, an indentation formed on its surface. Today, this site attracts those who believe in its healing properties – the stone is believed to radiate special energy. The spring that flows from beneath the stone has long been considered sacred and healing.
The Altar Stone is one of the largest in Lithuania, measuring 3.6 meters in length and 3 meters in width, with part of its mass hidden underground. Due to its size and significance, it is listed as a geological monument.
