A second tactile map has been installed in the center of Kretinga – this one is dedicated to the entire Old Town. This bronze and stone creation is designed for both visually impaired visitors and curious tourists or local residents. The map depicts Town Hall Square, the Franciscan monastery, both churches, part of Pastauninkas Park, and other important buildings and spaces in the city center. Information is also provided in Braille, making this a special feature that promotes inclusivity.
This tactile map offers an opportunity to better explore Kretinga, discover key attractions, and delve into the city's history. It is an excellent tool for navigating the city and gaining a deeper understanding of its architecture.
