This story of an extraordinary historical witness follows the life of Vilhelmas Janiselis, who, during his exile in Siberia, used a unique method to document the daily life of deportees – a camera hidden inside a loaf of bread. These photographs, which became a documentary chronicle, are now recognized as part of the UNESCO heritage. The mural depicting the portrait of the Janiselis family is based on the photos taken during exile. The mural shows the entire family: parents Vilhelmas and Matilda, and their children Aldona, Emilija, Algirdas, and Jonas. This impressive visualization and commemoration of history is an exhibit of the Pasvalys Regional Museum, conceptualized and executed by artist Arminas Raugevičius (Studio "Gyva Grafika").
