Purvės Riffle, one of the six riffles of the Neris River, is located within the regional park and was first mentioned in Count K. Tiškevičius' book in 1857. In the middle of the river lies a massive stone, Žurdakas, whose hump would rise above the water during dry years, and at other times, a large wave would form over it. Although riverbed workers were unable to completely remove it for a long time, they managed to flip it, so now Žurdakas no longer emerges above the water and only creates smaller waves.
