The church, built in 1926 with the efforts of Father Steponas Rudžionis and local residents, is a traditional example of Lithuania's wooden sacred architecture. The rectangular building with a gable roof stands out with its square tower and prominent paintings of the Stations of the Cross, which were painted by J. Neliubšis in 1927. The main altar's painting The Crucifixion (1926–1928) reflects Flemish artistic influences, while the church's museum houses a painting of The Blessed Virgin Mary with the Child Jesus.
