Bijeikiai Hillfort is an elongated hill surrounded by the Rubikiai and Dusynas Lakes. This site once hosted an ancient settlement, as evidenced by archaeological findings. In 1943, local residents discovered a cultural layer up to 1.5 meters thick on the northern slope of the hillfort. Subsequent excavations revealed fragments of handmade pottery and other remnants of the ancient settlement. These artifacts are preserved in the Lithuanian National Museum, and the hillfort remains a valuable historical and cultural landmark to this day.
