The Rokiškis Manor, built in 1801 in the Classical style, is one of Lithuania's most significant cultural heritage sites. In 1905, the manor was renovated, incorporating Baroque elements, and became a symbol of distinctive architecture. Today, it houses the Rokiškis Regional Museum, which boasts a collection of over 100,000 exhibits showcasing the history of the manor and the Rokiškis region. The museum is particularly renowned for its Lionginas Šepka wood carvings and nativity scenes. The manor also hosts exhibitions, concerts, and educational activities. In 2011, the Rokiškis Manor Estate won the EDEN award as Lithuania’s most attractive tourism destination, celebrated for its well-preserved history and unique atmosphere.
