In Nevočiai village, Mosėdis subdistrict, Skuodas district, an oak tree impresses with its size: at 1.3 meters high, its circumference reaches 3.44 meters. This oak commemorates the formerly close-knit community of three neighboring homesteads—the Dargiai, Jonkai, and Rimkai—where people could literally shake hands through the window. Although the last of these homes, belonging to the Rimkai descendant Leilionas, stood until 1991 before being demolished, leaving only the stone foundations. This oak is recognized as a protected natural heritage site by Skuodas district municipality and serves as a significant point of interest for enthusiasts of nature and history.
