The Church of the Crucified Jesus in Aleksandrija is a historical structure featuring elements of Romanesque and Classicism architecture. This single-tower, rectangular-plan church is enclosed by a stone wall. The church's history dates back to 1778 when Prince Franciszek Sapieha built a chapel in the village of Truikinai and endowed it with land. In 1862, with the permission of Bishop Motiejus Valančius and under the care of Father Liudvikas Ligeika, the construction of a new brick church began, which was completed by parishioners in 1864 using their own funds. In 1918, Bishop Pranciškus Karevičius consecrated the church. The church belongs to the Skuodas Deanery, and the annual celebration of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross takes place on September 14.
