The Mosėdis Church, built in 1783, is one of the most significant late Baroque architectural heritage sites in Samogitia. This twin-towered church, surrounded by a stone fence with three-arched gates, stands out for its unique history. The early parish founders worshiped in a wooden church built in 1544 at the present site of Mosėdis, but in the 19th century, it was decided to construct a brick building. Although it belonged to the Varnių bishops' domain for a long time, the Mosėdis community actively contributed to its construction. Today, the churchyard features impressive chapels called "Mounts of Calvary."

St. Michael's Church in Mosėdis, constructed in 1783, is an exceptional late Baroque architectural monument, known for its grand twin towers and impressive interior décor. The church stands at the town center, where a Catholic parish had developed since the 15th century. The early community is associated with the first wooden church built in 1544, which stood on the right bank of the Bartuva River and served the wider Samogitia region. In the 18th century, the wooden structure was replaced by a brick church, showcasing Renaissance and Baroque styles,
with segmented arches and a stone fence that still retains the original character of the structure. The churchyard contains "Mounts of Calvary" chapels, built in 1901 from red bricks. The Mosėdis cemetery and the chapel, constructed in 1845, also hold significant importance in the parish's history. This is a place where visitors to Skuodas District can experience the rich spirit of religious and cultural heritage. The church not only preserves the historical memories of the parishioners but also attracts travelers and heritage enthusiasts.
