The hillfort, located at the confluence of the Šušvė and Šakė Rivers, offers breathtaking views of the vast Šušvė Valley. During the interwar period, when the valley was cleared, expansive horizons were revealed. However, after World War II, the area was overgrown with low-value vegetation due to intensive artificial fertilization, which remains to this day. In the settlement at the foot of the hillfort, archaeologists discovered ancient handmade pottery dating back to the turn of the 1st–2nd millennium. This site is a popular attraction, drawing both history enthusiasts and nature lovers.
