"Rise Above Dusia" Hiking Trail

For those seeking a longer hike, Meteliai Regional Park offers the “Rise Above Dusia” route, approximately 11 km long, which can extend to 14 km when visiting nearby points of interest. The path is marked on Google Maps. This route takes you through the Žagariai Geomorphological Reserve, preserving large hills shaped by glaciers. While the hills of Dzūkija may not rival the Alps in height, they are certainly worth exploring. The highlight of this trail is the stunning view of Lake Dusia from a 43-meter-high vantage point.
