In the Širvintas Forest within Meteliai Regional Park grows one of the oldest oak groves in Lithuania, dating back over 300 years. Among the giants of this forest, near the Seirijai–Simnas road, stand two exceptional oak trees recognized as natural heritage monuments. The Great Oak of Širvintas reaches a height of 31 meters with a trunk circumference of 5 meters. Nearby stands the Hollow Oak of Širvintas, with a height of 29 meters and a trunk circumference of 4.4 meters. These centuries-old trees enrich Lithuania’s natural heritage and serve as valuable tourist attractions.
