The Verstaminai III mound is strategically located 0.6 km northwest of the Verstaminai I mound and is one of the most important historical sites in the area. The slopes here are steep, reaching heights of 12 to 15 meters, and at the top, you will find a platform measuring 26 meters long and 8 meters wide, which has no fortifications. At the southern foot of the mound lies an ancient settlement; however, both the mound and the settlement have been plowed for a long time, which has damaged the cultural layer. Archaeological investigations have revealed fragments of several pieces of coarse pottery with a rough surface, indicating that this site has been inhabited since ancient times. The archaeological complex of the mound and settlement is dated to the 1st millennium, providing valuable insights into past cultures and lifestyles.
