The Žiezdrių Stone, measuring 2.53 meters in length, 1.59 meters in width, and 1.65 meters in height, is famous for an imprint on its surface known as the "devil's footprint." Legend has it that this area was once covered in dense forest, which was devastated by a powerful storm. It is said that the devil, running through the forest, left his footprint on the stone. Local women, returning from fieldwork like milking cows, raking hay, or harvesting rye, would visit the stone and use the rainwater collected in the imprint to rub on aching parts of their bodies, believing in its healing properties. Another story suggests that the devil, chasing the Swedish army, stood on this stone, leaving an eternal footprint. Today, the Žiezdrių Stone is a municipally protected natural heritage site.
