The Grand Duchy of Lithuania's Vice-Chancellor Steponas Pacas established his main residence in Jieznas. In 1640, an impressive palace complex was constructed, surrounded by a luxurious park. This park was bordered by ponds and water channels, and a small stream flowed through the palace grounds. From the palace terrace, there was a magnificent view of Lake Jieznas, which the Vice-Chancellor and his guests could admire.
Today, the park has been restored, featuring tree-lined avenues and walking paths. Adjacent to the park, there is a well-appointed leisure area with a beach and a children's playground, where visitors can enjoy the tranquility of nature.
