In the early 20th century, the Polesės manor and the Radomislio and Mergiškiai estates were owned by the Żyżniewski family. On this hill stands the Polesės manor cemetery, known locally as the Gypsy Grave. Here rests a young landowner, Rozalija, the wife of Vaclovo Andrijano Żyżniewski. This cemetery is located near an intersection, not far from the manor house. It is known that in 1902, Rozalija, along with other parish women, purchased a bell for the newly built Church of St. Apostles Peter and Paul in Užuguosčio, which was primarily funded by her husband, the landowner Żyżniewski.
