The Mieleiškiai mausoleum chapel is listed in the Cultural Heritage Register of the Republic of Lithuania and belongs to the Papilys Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish. It is one of the key attractions on the tourist route "Wooden Churches and Chapels of the Biržai Region." This historic chapel was built with funds provided by Adolfas Sabaliauskas-Žalia Rūta, known as a canon, folklorist, translator, and chaplain of the Lithuanian Army. The construction of the chapel was completed between 1939 and 1940, and the architect for the project was the renowned architect Jonas Kova-Kovalskis.
