The journey from Molėtai to Mindūnai, in the direction of Ignalina, begins with a picturesque route. Turning right into the start of the Labanoras Regional Park, you will pass a few rows of birch trees before the road winds through dense pine forests. Not far along, you will reach Lithuania’s second-highest observation tower, standing at 36 meters tall. The architecture of the tower resembles a slender tree trunk reaching upwards, with only birds and the sky above it.

Challenge yourself to reach the top of the tower, comparable to climbing a nine-story building. To witness the stunning panoramic view, you need to climb 214 steps. Overcoming any fear of heights via the spiral staircase, you will be rewarded with breathtaking scenery as if seen from a bird's perspective. From the top of the tower, you can see the northern and northeastern parts of the Labanoras Regional Park, with their lush green pines, and to the
west, the White Lakajai, one of the largest glacial lakes in Eastern Lithuania. The view includes its islands and peninsulas, belonging to the most scenic Lakajai Landscape Reserve in Aukštaitija. This reserve is characterized by wooded hills, the White and Black Lakajai lakes, unique peninsulas, islands, and rare plant and animal species. Facilities near the tower include stairs on the slope of the White Lakajai lake, a path, a pontoon pier, a set of tables and benches, trash bins, gazebos, a bike rack, an outdoor toilet, and lighting. The largest regional park in Lithuania, Labanoras Regional Park, covers the watershed of the Šventoji and Žeimena rivers, with forests making up about four-fifths of its territory. Together, they form a continuous forest mass known as the Labanoras Forest, one of the largest and most valuable forests in Lithuania. Visiting this site is free of charge and always open to visitors.
