Explore the permanent exhibitions at the Energy and Technology Museum, including the Transformation Hall, Energy and Industry Exhibitions, "Science and Technology for Children," and the rooftop terrace. The Energy and Technology Museum is a family-friendly venue that combines unique industrial heritage, interactive science education, and cultural events all under one roof. Since 2023, the Energy and Technology Museum has expanded its activities to the Liepkalnis Water Reservoir, a century-old water storage facility constructed under a hill in 1916, which had remained closed and secured until now. The museum offers guided tours, thematic excursions, educational programs, and creative workshops tailored for students
of all ages. These educational activities foster creativity and curiosity while providing hands-on experiences that deepen and reinforce new knowledge in natural and technical sciences. Some of the educational programs are available through the Cultural Passport system. Currently, the museum features the latest exhibition in the Transformation Hall, spanning 1,000 square meters, located 6 meters underground, with twenty energy-generating exhibits. The Energy and Technology Museum is housed in the former production facilities of Vilnius's first public power plant, which began operations on February 14, 1903. The museum's symbol is the allegorical sculpture "Electricity," which adorns the building's tower.
