The Hanseatic Merchants' Flax Warehouse is one of the oldest brick buildings in Kupiškis, dating back to the first half of the 19th century. Kupiškis was renowned for its flax-growing traditions. From this warehouse, flax was transported via railway from Kupiškis to the port of Liepaja or by carts to the port of Riga. Today, this historic building, along with the former Koenigstetter Pharmacy building, belongs to the construction company UAB "Dailista" and is only accessible for exterior viewing. The flax warehouse is listed in the Register of Cultural Heritage.
