The Adomynės Manor Museum is a unique and non-traditional museum. It showcases a collection of old household items, prints, and artifacts from the Adomynės area, collected by the active members of the Adomynės village community, led by cultural worker Rima Lapienienė. Each item brought here has its own fascinating story and intrinsic value. Unlike typical museums, this manor museum aims to create a cozy, old-fashioned home interior. Authentic pieces from the manor, such as a table, a holy water sprinkler, and a curtain tassel, are arranged to resemble a living room rather than a museum exhibit. Visitors can experience a sense of living history. It's truly worth visiting to see the unique exhibits like the Adomynės "bookbinding workshop," a small altar, old priestly garments, and more. Explore the history and culture of the area through these distinctive artifacts in a welcoming and homely setting.
