Laurynas Stuoka-Gucevičius Square in Kupiškis region has long been known as a marketplace and trading venue. The square is named after the esteemed architect Laurynas Gucevičius, born in Migoniai village, Kupiškis region, renowned for designing Vilnius Cathedral. In 2019, the square underwent reconstruction, replacing the old fountain with a new musical fountain. This modern engineering, architectural, and artistic creation combines water, light, and music effects. The fountain show becomes a true spectacle, where water jets reach heights of up to 8 meters, with lighting
and fountain height changing according to the music played. Due to its beauty and impressive water choreography, the fountain attracts large crowds of tourists and local residents alike. In winter, before major holidays, the square becomes a popular attraction center adorned with the most beautiful Christmas tree in Kupiškis, featuring Santa's residence and offering local delicacies.
Throughout the year, visitors are delighted with free musical fountain shows daily at 12:30 PM, 3:00 PM, 6:30 PM, and 9:30 PM. The fountain's water shows operate from 7 AM to midnight.
