Located just 14 km from Vilnius, in the village of Bareikiškės, the Vladislovas Sirokomlė Museum invites visitors to immerse themselves in the life and work of the 19th-century poet and local history enthusiast. The poet lived here with his family for eight years, a period that was particularly fruitful for his creative endeavors. The estate, which once housed a school and library, became a memorial museum in 1973, marking the 150th anniversary of the poet's birth.
