The chapel was built in 1853 by Hieronim Przeciszewski in memory of his deceased wife Celina. The walls, windows, and cornices of the chapel are decorated. The windows and doors are in the Gothic style. The chapel was originally enclosed by a unique fence covered with tiles. It is believed that the designer of the chapel was Fulgenas Rimgaila, a professor at the Paris Academy of Fine Arts. The crypts of the chapel contain the remains of the owners of Tytuvėnai and Pagryžuvys estates and their relatives.
