The Masioniai manor and the village of Karviai (with four valaks) were given a new purpose. In 1783, a parish center was established here, which had previously belonged to the Maišiagala parish as a filial. After the church was destroyed by fire in 1861, a modern brick church was built on its site between 1862 and 1865. This church features historicist characteristics and incorporates elements of the neo-Gothic style. It is built on a rectangular plan and is distinguished by its twin-tower structure. The churchyard houses a cemetery surrounded by a stone masonry fence, emphasizing the local architectural and cultural identity.
