The wooden sculpture made from laminated oak stands near the café "Senas žvejas" ("Old Fisherman"). This artwork, depicting the winds, serves as a reminder of the unique living conditions on the Curonian Spit and reveals how dependent the local fishermen were on natural elements.
The sculpture was erected in 1974, and its author is Eduardas Jonušas.
