The church is of classical architecture, rectangular in plan, without a tower, and has a three-nave interior. The churchyard is enclosed by a stone wall. The ensemble of St. John the Baptist Church was initiated in the late 18th century and fully formed in the first half of the 19th century. The first wooden church was built in 1760 on the initiative of the Curonian noble Graf. In 1779, Justina Kublickienė, fulfilling her late husband's will, allocated a new plot for the construction of a brick church. It is believed that the artist Vincentas Smakauskas contributed to the interior decoration.
