After an impressive renovation, Gargždai's "Minija" cinema welcomes visitors not only with the latest film screenings but also with a unique exhibition of cinema equipment. This exhibition, realized through the initiative of long-time cinema administrator Jonas Mikutis, invites visitors on a journey through the history of cinema technology. His personal collection unveils a treasure trove of rare photography and cinema equipment.
Visitors will have the opportunity to get up close with cameras and film projectors from various eras. Photography enthusiasts will find a rich assortment of vintage products from brands such as "Moscow," "Smena," "Leica," "Fed," "Zenit," "Lomo," "Polaroid," and "Kodak." The exhibition showcases a wide range of equipment, from early panoramic camera models to "spy" miniatures, revealing the diverse world of photography.
