In the heart of Gargždai, on the charming Klaipėda Street, stands a delightful bronze sculpture of a cat, symbolizing a gift to the town from the "Mars Lietuva" company in celebration of the town's 760th anniversary. This gift aims to encourage the rejuvenation of Gargždai, with the hope that enjoying life with the cat sculpture, named Gargždukas, will become an emblem of the town's revival. The sculpture, embodying satisfaction and joy in life, was masterfully created for the town's anniversary celebration by renowned sculptors Sergejus Plotnikovas and Svajūnas Jurkus.
