The barrow cemetery covers an area of 33 hectares and contains about 560 barrows; some were destroyed by plowing in the village fields. The barrows are spaced 5-25 meters apart. Their mounds are 6-12 meters in diameter, with some reaching 14-18 meters, and are 0.3-1.5 meters high. Many barrows are surrounded by ditches or trenches. Some mounds are elongated, measuring 8-10 to 14-16 meters in length and 4-7 meters in width, and are also surrounded by elongated ditches.
