In the town of Dovilai, centrally located, stands the historic Dovilai Evangelical Lutheran Church, built in 1862. This architectural monument features elements of the Neo-Gothic style, with its structure composed of hewn stone and vertical accents of red clay bricks. The church's three-nave space with a hexagonal apse gives the building a distinctive beauty. The central part of the main facade is adorned with a bell tower made of red clay bricks, topped with an octagonal turret crowned by a metal cross. The arched shapes of the entrance and windows add expressiveness and elegance to the building. In earlier years, the churchyard was surrounded by lush trees, but today, some of them have been removed and replaced by the municipal administration building, enriching the infrastructure of Dovilai town.
