The Rietavas Manor Estate is an architectural ensemble from the transitional period between Classicism and Historicism, notable for its monumentality, abundance of preserved buildings, composition, and one of the largest parks in Lithuania. This ensemble holds not only architectural but also historical value as a monument to the Oginski family, who were promoters of new, progressive ideas in science, culture, and technology.
It is listed in the Register of Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Lithuania. The ensemble includes: the park, the office, fragments of the fence, the White and Red gates, the stables, the music school, the musicians' dormitory, the brewery-laundry, the mausoleum chapel, the guardhouse, and two houses, one of which is called "kryžaunia", and the cemetery.
