In 2017, the park named after the President of Lithuania was renovated and upgraded. The park now delights children with its fountains, playground, and roller-skating paths. Next to the park, along the Lomena River, there is a pedestrian and bicycle path equipped with outdoor exercise equipment. Visitors often enjoy the company of swans and ducks. The park is a cozy place to come with a cup of coffee or snacks, with outdoor tables and benches provided. Between the park and the Lomena River stands one of the city's most stylish buildings—the Kaišiadorys Diocese Palace.

In October 2022, an oak sapling grown from an acorn of the Stelmužė Oak was planted in this park. The year 2022 is commemorated as the Year of Youth. On this occasion, the National Association of Youth Affairs Coordinators and the Association of Lithuanian Municipalities, in collaboration with the Kaišiadorys District Municipality, initiated the creation of the Youth Park.
