The Path of Freedom is a sculptural installation created to mark the 20th anniversary of Lithuania’s restored independence. It symbolizes the human chain that once united the three Baltic states, highlighting the power of unity and the quest for freedom. The monument is built from bricks in the colors of the Lithuanian flag, engraved with the names of its supporters. The idea was developed by sculptor Tadas Gutauskas in collaboration with architect Saulius Pamerneckis. The installation is set to rise in Vilnius, near the Konstitucijos Avenue and Geležinio Vilko Street roundabout. The project is supported by the Lithuanian National Commission for UNESCO and is part of the national independence commemoration program.
