Reichmann House

The Reichmann House, standing at the corner of Pikk and Voorimehe Streets, is one of the most striking Art Nouveau buildings in Tallinn’s Old Town. It was built in 1908–1909, designed by architect Jacques Rosenbaum. The façade is adorned with rich decorative details: sculptural ornaments, expressive balconies, and small pediments characteristic of Dutch and North German traditions. Its main highlight is the round corner tower, which adds dynamism and distinctiveness to the city’s skyline. This three-story house is considered one of Rosenbaum’s earliest and most important works, helping to establish him as one of Estonia’s most notable architects of the early 20th century. Today, the Reichmann House is valued as a key symbol of Tallinn’s architectural heritage.
