The Pakri Cliffs are among the most impressive natural landmarks in Estonia, located near the town of Paldiski by the Baltic Sea. The cliffs stretch for about 12 km and reach heights of up to 24 meters in some places. They are part of the North Estonian limestone escarpment that runs across the country. From the top of the Pakri Cliffs, one can enjoy stunning sea views, while below lie exposed rock layers dating back hundreds of millions of years. It is a great location for hiking, photography, birdwatching, and admiring sunsets. Nearby stand two lighthouses – the old Pakri Lighthouse, built during the reign of Peter I, and the newer Pakri Lighthouse, which still operates today. The Pakri Cliffs are not only a geological natural monument but also one of the most popular spots for travelers seeking dramatic views of the Baltic Sea coast.
