Hedgehog Mom Frīda is a wooden sculpture located near the White Dune in Saulkrasti, Latvia. It was created as a friendly environmental symbol meant to remind visitors to care for nature. Frīda, together with the bunny Fred, welcomes those arriving at the environmental design park and encourages responsible behavior – not littering, not making noise, and enjoying the beauty of nature with respect.
This sculpture has become a kind of signature landmark of the White Dune: many travelers stop here to take photos, and children have grown fond of Frīda as a playful friend who represents the role of a nature guardian.
