Poteroniai Hillfort, also known as the Hill of Giants, dates back to the beginning of the 1st–2nd millennium. Surrounded by legends of a sunken castle and a priestess appearing at midnight, the hill's slopes reach 10–14 meters in height, with an ancient settlement at its base. According to stories, the name Poteroniai comes from a girl saying prayers (poteriai) in the area. It’s a place where history, myth, and the power of nature intertwine.
