This hillfort, situated at the top of a separate hill on the left bank of the Strėva River, is distinguished by its rectangular-shaped platform, oriented from southwest to northeast. Its slopes are steep, with a rampart and ditch defining the settlement area, where various artifacts, including pottery and grinding stones, have been found. These findings indicate that the area was inhabited from the beginning of the 1st millennium to the beginning of the 2nd millennium. Stories about the hillfort reveal its significance in local culture and history, suggesting that there might have been a pagan temple or that it was constructed by the Swedes. The nearby burial mound, excavated at the end of the 20th century, further deepens the historical importance of the site.
