Let’s go to Ignalina! July 19 Program

On July 19, Ignalina invites you to the city festival – full of music, sports, art, and fun for the whole family! From the morning, events will take place at the city beach, Liberty Square, the library, the museum, parks, and other locations. The day will begin with yoga by Lake Gavio, beach volleyball, educational workshops, exhibitions, musical performances, nostalgia-filled meetups, and “Let’s Explore Ignalina!” tours. In the evening – a festive parade and a spectacular concert at the Summer Stage featuring MAN-GO, SPURR, EVGENYA REDKO, and G&G SINDIKATAS. At night – a laser show and DJ MARTIN! Don’t miss the celebration – let’s go to Ignalina!

On July 19, from the morning, festive activities will invite you to various places in Ignalina: to the city beach by Lake Gavio, where yoga sessions, beach volleyball, and a lifeguard demonstration program will take place; to the square near the recently unveiled sculpture “Sveikas drūtas, Bratka”, where teachers and students from the Mikas Petrauskas Music School will present the program “Street Music”; to the courtyards of the Public Library and Ignalina Gymnasium, where an outdoor reading area will be open, an exhibition will be presented, the interactive van “Cookie Truck” will visit, and nostalgic reunions of former students will take place; this year’s graduates will delight with a procession to Liberty Square; to the Regional Museum, where educational activities will take place and a painting plein-air exhibition will be presented; to the Tourist Information Center, where
games will be held and tours titled “Let’s Go Around Ignalina!” will begin. Everyone will be able to choose interesting activities for themselves At 17:00, we will all gather in Liberty Square, where, with the musical program of the Pabradė brass band and dancers, we will loudly open the City Festival evening program and march in a festive procession to the main evening concert venue at Ignalina Summer Stage. From 19:00, we will party at the Summer Stage evening concert, where the premiere of the song “Let’s Go to Ignalina!” will take place, the alternative rock band SPURR from Ignalina will present the program, the band MAN-GO will bring a summery vibe, the performer EVGENYA REDKO will leave no one indifferent, G&G SINDIKATAS will ignite a real party, an impressive laser show will light up the nighttime Summer Stage, and for the most enduring – DJ MARTIN will serve the best music!
