The sculpture "Industry (Girl)" in Panevėžys is an artistic symbol reminding of the city's industrial past. It was erected in 1979 near the "Garsas" cinema, and its author is the renowned sculptor Bronius Vyšniauskas. The sculpture depicts a girl holding a gear – a symbol of industrial progress and labor. Unfortunately, over time the sculpture was damaged – the gear disappeared, along with its symbolic meaning.
