Lõhavere Hill Fort is one of the oldest historical sites in Estonia and is associated with the famous Estonian leader Lembitu. At the end of the 12th century, a fortress was built here and used for about 20 years. The natural hill with steep slopes surrounded by forest still impresses visitors today. A granite memorial to freedom fighters stands near the site, and an exhibition nearby presents the life of ancient Estonians. This is a perfect place for those interested in Baltic history, ancient fortresses, cultural heritage, and nature. Come for a walk and feel the spirit of ancient Estonia!
