The “Ajahetk” Memorial in the city of Pärnu is a symbolic site dedicated to the proclamation of Estonia’s independence and in honor of the members of the Salvation Committee – Päts, Vilms, Konik, and Kuusner. It was at this location in 1918 that the Declaration of Independence was read, marking a cornerstone in Estonia’s national history.
