The sculpture Aušrinė, created in 1986 by sculptor Jonas Meškeliavičius, embodies the Lithuanian mythological goddess of the morning— a symbol of light and beauty. According to legend, Aušrinė lights the Sun’s fire each morning, and her symbol is the pentagram. In Baltic mythology, she also appears as a sacred cow or a mare of the seas. This sculpture is not only an artistic highlight but also a marker of cultural memory, inviting viewers to explore the ancient Baltic worldview.
