From 1944 to 1953, this building housed the Radviliškis branch of the NKVD–MVD–MGB and the headquarters of Soviet collaborators known as stribai. Lithuanian citizens were imprisoned, interrogated, and tortured here, while deportation orders arrived from Vilnius. This site stands as a witness to the era of Soviet terror and remains a symbol of historical memory, urging us to remember the price of freedom.
