In the courtyard of the Radviliškis Public Library stands one of the smallest sculptures in Lithuania—The Reading Child. This work by Martynas Gaubas symbolizes the joy of childhood, concentration, and the power of reading. Though small in size, the meaningful bronze figure has become a symbol of the library and the cultural spirit of the city. A legend has even been created about the sculpture, published in a booklet titled The Legend of the Reading Child. It is a delicate artistic piece that reminds us how much begins with a book.
